This new feature allows businesses to accept contactless payments such as Apple Pay and other digital wallets from customers using their iPhone and the Westpac EFTPOS Air app.
Tap to Pay on iPhone is a secure and convenient way for businesses to accept contactless payments. It uses the built-in features of iPhone to keep businesses' and customers' data private and secure. When a payment is processed, Apple doesn't store card numbers on the device or on Apple servers.

Starting today, Tap to Pay on iPhone is available on Westpac's EFTPOS Air app and it's easy for merchants to set up and use. On an iPhone XS or later running iOS 16.4 or later, simply download Westpac's EFTPOS Air app from the Apple App Store.
